Steps for replacing the belt

- Remove the lint screen and unscrew the two screws beneath it using a Phillips head screwdriver.
- Using a putty knife, release the top panel clips by inserting it between the top panel and front panel of the dryer.
- Lift up and support the top panel while unscrewing two screws at each corner of the front panel using a Phillips head screwdriver.
- Carefully tilt and remove the front panel, making sure not to disconnect any wires attached to it.
- Lift up and support the drum while removing any remaining pieces of old broken belt from around it.
- Carefully thread one end of new 6602-001655 Dryer Drum Belt around the motor pulley and loop it over onto itself towards where it was originally attached on the drum.
- Moving clockwise around the drum, continue threading new 6602-001655 Dryer Drum Belt between drum rollers until fully looped around drum with enough tension so that it won’t slip off pulley system once reassembled.
