Hey there, it’s me, Tracy! I recently played the Monopoly Wicked Edition Board Game and let me tell you, it was amazafying! The game is based on the Wicked movie which is one of my all-time favorites. It was so fun to explore the land of Oz while playing a classic game like Monopoly. The combination of art, storylines, and characters from the film really brought the game to life.
My friend Lily joined me for a few rounds and we couldn’t get enough of the 6 themed golden tokens included in the game. We were fighting over who got to be Elphaba with her iconic hat, broom, and bottle. And Glinda’s crown and trunks were just as coveted. The Grimmerie token was a nice touch for true fans of the film.
As we made our way around the board, we couldn’t help but feel like we were part of the movie. The locations from Oz were beautifully depicted and collecting Ozian coins as we acquired more properties added an extra level of excitement. And let’s not forget about Munchkin Homes and Emerald Castles replacing houses and hotels—such a creative twist!
I have to admit, I did get a little carried away with my “defy gravity” card that gave me 20 Ozian coins. But hey, that’s all part of the fun! And speaking of fun, this game is perfect for family game night or any gathering with friends. It adds a touch of magic to any occasion! Trust me, this fantabulous gift for Wicked fans will not disappoint.
