At first, some may question the necessity of this particular toy. After all, there have been plenty of dinosaur toys released in conjunction with previous movies. However, as someone who has followed the franchise closely since its inception, I can confidently say that the Indominus Rex is a necessary addition to the Jurassic World toy line.
First and foremost, this new hybrid dinosaur was a major plot point in “Jurassic World” and continues to play a significant role in “Fallen Kingdom.” As such, it only makes sense for it to be included in the toy line. Fans want to be able to recreate their favorite scenes and battles from the movies with their toys, and not having an Indominus Rex would leave a major hole in those reenactments.
